Work

I’m employed at Swisscom as an iOS developer and am working on the MySwisscom app, an app that allows customers to manage their subscriptions, check out their bills and also to configure their home network equipment. This year I want to also learn more about Spring Boot based micro services.

App development

After some months hiatus I have picked up development of my BeerDiary app again. I’m working hard on version 2.0 which will bring the app to the iPad and maybe even MacOS using Catalyst. It’s quite a big refactor and I’m taking the opportunity to clean up some things at the same time. I started out using MVVM, then ripped it out completely at some point in favor of MV architecture. However I found that some of the more complex views benefit from having a separate View Model so I have reintroduced them where necessary.

When I’m developing BeerDiary, you can also probably find some toots on Mastodon on whatever topic is relevant to me at that moment.
