Work

I’m employed at Swisscom as an iOS developer and am working on the MySwisscom app, an app that allows customers to manage their subscriptions, check out their bills and also to configure their home network equipment.

I’m currently mostly working on the Chatbot functionality (SwiftUI and backend communication). The new solution I worked on for the first half of this year went live recently and it was a success. I’m now working at other related topics that extend the functionality.

This year I also wanted to learn more about Spring Boot based micro services. But so far other topics have been taking my time so no progress there yet.

App development

Development of my BeerDiary app is continuing at a steady pace.

Version 2.4 was just released and it adds iOS26 support. Feedback is really picking up and I love it. If you have something to share, please feel free to email me.

I’m currently checking out what I can add in version 2.5. One thing that will probably be there is swiping between photos.

Also I’m now experimenting with Github Copilot and had it generate some small apps for me. Check out my short post about this here.

Other remarks

When I’m developing BeerDiary, you can also probably find some toots on Mastodon on whatever topic is relevant to me at that moment.
