Creating debian packages

Lately I've been interested in creating my own .deb files for easy distribution of my application. These two articles give a good basic tutorial:

Interesting stuff, and basically dh_make will make importing an existing makefile very easy. Afterwards just edit debian/control and run dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot
